February Meeting Information

Hi Everyone!

We will be meeting at Messenger Library located at 113 Oak Street in North Aurora.  Here are the directions and more info from the group leader Sandy

“If you are heading north on Lake St. (Route 31) and this would include anyone exiting the tollway — turn left off the tollway and head north on Lake St.  There will be (3) stop lights past the tollway…. the first is at Airport Road, the second at State St. (turning right here would take you past Harner’s Bakery and eastward to Butterfield Road, Route 56), but continue north on Lake St. about a block and at the third stop light, which is Oak St., turn left and head west.  Proceed only (1) block and the entrance to the library will be on your right.  Park anywhere in the parking lot; if it is full, you can park in the adjacent lots of the businesses or in the church parking lot next door.  If you are coming from the north, use Lake St. (Route 31).  When you’ve passed the Orchard Road turnoff, continue south on Lake St. and the stop light at Oak St. will be approx. 3/4 mile south.  At the Oak St. light, turn right and go only 1 block and turn into the entrance to the library.

Come in the main entrance and veer to the right; the large meeting room is located at the end of the hallway  We will be meeting earlier at this location because of the earlier closing time.  I will be there before 6:30pm and invite all who can make it at that time to join me.  We can have 30 minutes of social time together and sample the refreshments. Those of you who cannot make it at 6:30pm, come as soon as you can and our meeting will begin at 7:00pm.  Because the library closes at 9pm, we need to vacate the room promptly at 8:45pm.  Starting earlier means everyone will get home earlier !”
